Jim Dailey

As Vice President of Government Relations, Dailey will assist city officials around the state in identifying some of the goals and strategies that can help build stronger communities and allow for greater economic expansion. Whether the goal is to expand industrial development, create a thriving retail market, drive up tourism, or anything in between, Jim has the experience to help cities navigate the often complex municipal issues that can stand in the way of economic development goals.

Jim Dailey has served more than 20 years as an elected official in the state of Arkansas, including 14 years as the mayor of Little Rock (1993 – 2006). Dailey was chairman of the Arkansas State Parks Recreation and Travel Commission and was appointed to be the director of Arkansas Tourism in 2017. He has also served as president of the Arkansas Municipal League, chairman of the Advisory Committee of the National League of Cities, chairman of the FCC Intergovernmental Advisory Committee, a member of the Arkansas Broadband Council, and chairman of Little Rock’s Airport Commission, just to name a few.
